Here are the books I have read which have helped shape my views on nutrition, wellness and living a healthy, balanced life. Not one of them is a diet book, but many of them proclaim the virtues of eating in-season, whole foods, especially organic fruits and vegetables and shunning simple, refined carbohydrates and highly-processed, packaged "food-like" products. These books encourage shopping for local produce and cooking at home, two concepts very near and dear to my heart. I hope they can be as inspiring to you as they have been to me.
