Flipped and Fried

Good Morning!

I'm in such a good mood today because one of my food photos made it onto FoodGawker and Healthy Aperture!  It was last night's brussels sprouts, which I will admit did look darn delicious if I don't say so myself.  And as good as they looked, they tasted even better.

This morning's breakfast was not nearly as photogenic.  But it was tasty and satisfied a craving I've been having for fried eggs.   This was strange because I don't think I've had a fried egg in ages, I usually prefer quiche or scrambled eggs.  But the body wants what it wants, and who am I to deny it?

I am not usually a fan of runny yolks so I had Brian cook it a little extra on the second side to make sure it was firm.  Then he sprinkled some freshly grated extra sharp cheddar on top and the whole thing was put on a toasted slice of Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Bread.  Open-face breakfast sandwich bliss!

With a half of a pink grapefruit (so sweet and tart).  Not pictured AGUA and COFFEE, obvi.

Today I am meeting some bloggers this afternoon across the bridge at Cassis in St. Petersburg.  Never been so I'm looking forward to it AND especially meeting some new people in the area.

Have a fabulous weekend!
